Raijin Self Defense’s mission is to offer martial arts classes to anyone willing to learn. Every class is filled with self-defense, fitness, and fun.
We believe safety to be important and that everyone should have the ability to defend themself. Each class offers skills in self-defense, giving students technique in order to avoid and escape dangerous situations.
Classes also help students to stay in shape, gain flexibility, build strength, and tone muscles, all while enjoying the fun and exciting lesson plans prepared specifically for each age group. Training can help relieve stress, provide self-confidence, improve motivation and mental attitude, teach self-discipline, and much more. The more a student trains, the bigger change they will see in themselves both physically and mentally.
Many martial arts schools are similar, in that they teach self-defense, discipline, and fitness. At Raijin Self Defense, we engage the students each class with these lessons; we cater lesson plans to each of the specific areas of growth the students need. We also encourage parent-teacher relations. Communication with students and parents about progress and how we can help outside of the classroom is significant to us. We are here to help out with home life and school progression as much as we can.
Our martial arts style is a combination of several different arts. The backbone of it is Ninjutsu and included within is Kali, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Kenpo, and a variety of weapons. The main focus is of our style is self-defense, so each technique we practice has a real world application to it. Martial arts changes and evolves over the years, and so will our style.
